“How one presents him or herself to the world. Swagger is shown from how the person handles a situation. It can also be shown in the person’s walk.”
Islam is more than a religion; it is a way of life. It is how we sleep, and how we wake up, how we talk and how we keep silent. It is how we treat others and how we treat ourselves. It is how we live and In Shaa Allah it is how we die.
I call it the Muslim swagger: always cool calm and collected, kind , humble, patient, friendly, open minded, well dressed, clean, smelling good, hygienic, slow to anger, easy to forgive, polite, respectful, confident, respectful to women, respectful to our parents and elders, knowledge seekers.
Aren’t all these things part of the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH). A person who has worked or is working to gain these qualities today, won’t he be considered a great role model? better yet, a great leader?
This is what we should strive for. As Muslims we have been given all the solutions to understanding the life of this world and all the knowledge we need to be the best of people, we have what leaders should be made of, we have all the keys to whatever type of success we seek to achieve. But sometimes we are too lazy to even reach in our pockets and take them out to unlock the doors.
If we truly try to live as Allah commands, as Islam demands and as the Prophet (PBUH) lived and instructed. Then there is no doubt we would be the best of people. This is the Muslim creed.
You wake up for fajr for Allah, You pray five times a day for Allah, You study for the sake of Allah, you work for the sake of Allah, You do everything for Allah. Then what do you have to fear?
Surah An-Nisa 4: 147
“What would Allah do with your punishment if you are grateful and believe? And ever is Allah Appreciative and Knowing.”
I would like to end this by saying…
You know what it is.
