What is true pain?… It is pain that goes beyond physical pain, and it goes beyond emotional pain, and beyond mental anguish. True pain is not being burnt, or cut, or betrayed by a close friend or family, or the death of one. True pain is being separated from your Lord Allah.

When you forget Allah, when you forget why you are truly here. This pain is the only pain that hits your very soul. You become disoriented and distressed without knowing or realizing it, running around trying to find a cure for this pain in worldly things but you never find it. So you distract yourself, you run towards short lived happiness. Music, clubbing, shisha, cigarettes and the list goes on. But all these temporary fixes only further add to the pain. It is only Satan playing with your mind, deceiving you, keeping you from realizing the truth, and the truth is, the only thing you need to do is remember Allah and turn back to Allah.

As stated in the Quran, Surah An-nisa 4 :120- 124

“Satan promises them and arouses desire in them. But Satan does not promise them except delusion.

The refuge of those will be Hell, and they will not find from it an escape.

But the ones who believe and do righteous deeds – We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. [It is] the promise of Allah, [which is] truth, and who is more truthful than Allah in statement.

Paradise is not [obtained] by your wishful thinking nor by that of the People of the Scripture. Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it, and he will not find besides Allah a protector or a helper.

And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer – those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed.”

Look outside and see how many people are living with this pain, in denial of it, trying to distract themselves from it. Not knowing how to cure it or stop feeling this pain. The most amount of pain you can inflict on someone is to separate them from Allah, it is to pull them further away from Allah, and the most amount of Joy you may grant someone is to bring them closer to Allah. To remind them of Allah and HIS mercy.

As stated in the Quran An-Nisa 4: 027-028

“Allah wants to accept your repentance, but those who follow [their] passions want you to digress [into] a great deviation.

And Allah wants to lighten for you [your difficulties]; and mankind was created weak.”

Thank you for your time.
